T'ai Chi

T'ai Chi is ancient method of exercise for people of all ages and fitness levels and is particularly suitable for those in the 'middle years'. The movements are flowing and enhance the "Chi" - the energy of the mind, body and spirit.  T'ai Chi is thought to be beneficial in the treatment of some chronic conditions such as high-blood pressure and is often a prescribed treatment in Chinese hospitals.  Training the mind and body at the same time, T'ai Chi exercises may stimulate the cerbal cortex, benefit the function of the central nervous system and strengthen bones, muscles and joints.
