ArtArt is a very popular activity at Eastbourne Seniors Club, so you have 3 sessions each week to choose from - Tuesday and Wednesday mornings 10am till 12am and Wednesday afternoons 2pm till 4pm. All the sessions are run in the same way and are open to absolute beginners and experts alike! Most people bring their own materials, but the art room has a well-stocked cupboard containing a variety of materials and loads of useful books. The sessions aren't 'taught' but anyone needing assistance can rely on their fellow artists for help and advice - almost every painting and drawing medium is used by someone! The mood is relaxed and friendly - 3 groups of like-minded people getting together to share their interest in an atmosphere of companionship and mutual support.
